If you are visiting Paris France we highly recommend you stop in for dinner at Assanabel in the Saint-Germain-des-Pres neighborhood. We were out late and couldn’t find a place to eat, so we headed back to the hotel and found that while all the restaurants nearby were closing for the night Assanabel was still open and serving at 10:30 pm. Service was above and beyond. Our food was excellent.

Absolutely amazing experience! As a Lebanese, I can confidently say this restaurant offers some of the most authentic and delicious Lebanese dishes I’ve had in Paris.Every bite—from the freshly made hummus and tabbouleh to the perfectly grilled meats—was bursting with flavor and prepared with so much care. The truffle hummus is a must! The service was equally impressive. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel right at home. Whether you’re familiar with Lebanese food or trying it for the first time, this place is an absolute must-visit in Paris. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Our favorite Lebanese restaurant in ParisThe quality of ingredients is exceptional, every plate is full of flavor. The menu is extensive, along with the wine list—it truly caters for all tastes. The restaurant atmosphere itself is warm, especially in the evening with the dim lights. The staff is amazing, very helpful and friendly.

We tried out this location because the others were sold out when we tried to make reservations and as vegetarians, this was some of the best Lebanese food we have ever eaten. We tried the Hummus Assanbel, the Moutabal, the Patata Hara and the Falafel. Our server recommended a seasonal dessert special with cheesy Halwa with pistachios and hints of oranges that was the prefect ending to the meal. We decided against any more Mediterranean food for the rest of our trip as there would be no way to top the flavors we had experienced! Highly recommend!!

We went for the “Les Gastronomes” menu (51€ per person). The place has a lovely atmosphere, and the service was excellent — really friendly and professional. The mezze were absolutely delicious, with a great variety and generous portions. Honestly, they were the highlight of the meal. The downside was the main dish (the mixed grill platter) — it was far from enough for five people, more like what you’d expect for two. It was too disappointing and surprising especially for the price.
